Just a few personal thoughts on this subject….

to me, the Lord’s Prayer is the most special prayer in the Bible because that is how the Lord Jesus Himself taught us to pray. It covers our praises to our Father in heaven as well as our daily needs (not necessarily our wants). What more could one ask for, actually? :-) But I also feel that it is not important how we pray, as long as we pray. Our prayers don’t have to be a novel because the Lord is smarter than us and knows everything anyway. Our prayers should be a form of trying to build up our personal relationship with our Father. Although going to Church and trying to be faithful in word and deed are important to me, my personal preference of prayer is just talking to our Father, whenever and where-ever it may be. Nobody has to even know about it. Besides, how many of us say the Lord’s Prayer word for word, taking each word seriously and soaking in the meaning of the words?.....
